Granting Access to Intelligence and Repository

Last updated: March 20, 2026

To give a user access to Repository and Intelligence, there are two steps:

  1. Provision the appropriate Repository role

  2. Grant Specific Room-level permissions

Step 1: Provision Repository Access

The process depends on whether the user already exists in Review or is being added as a new user.

For existing Review users

If the user already has Review access and now needs Repository or Intelligence access:

  1. Go to Settings > Workspace > Users

  2. Select the user

  3. Under Roles, choose one of the following:

    • Repository Member

    • Repository Manager

    • Repository Admin

  4. Click Save

For new users who only need Intelligence access

If the user is new and will only need access to Intelligence, not Review:

  1. Go to Settings > Workspace > Users

  2. Click Invite New User in the top-right corner

  3. Enter the user’s details

  4. Leave Review set to No

  5. Under Roles, select one of the following:

    • Repository Member

    • Repository Manager

    • Repository Admin

  6. Click Send Invites

Step 2: Grant Room-Level Permissions

After assigning the appropriate Repository role, you’ll also need to grant access to the relevant Room.

Note: By default, users are granted access to the default Room. To access any additional Rooms, they must be manually added to each Room’s permissions.

  1. Open the appropriate Room in Repository

  2. Click Permissions in the top-right corner

  3. Add the user

  4. Assign the appropriate Room-level permission:

    • Admin

    • Editor

    • Viewer

* Default Access to All Rooms *

Some roles automatically have access to all Rooms by default. These roles include:

  • Repository Admin

  • Admin

  • Owner

Users with one of these roles may not need additional Room-level permissions assigned individually.
