Repository: Shareable Document Links

When you open a document in Repository, the URL in your browser's address bar automatically updates to a link that is unique to that document. You can copy and share that link directly without any extra steps.

How it works

• Open any document in Repository. The URL in the address bar updates to a document-specific link automatically.

• Copy the URL and share it via email, Slack, or any other channel.

• Anyone who opens the link will be taken directly to that document, subject to their existing access permissions.

• Pressing the back button from a document returns you to the same room and view you came from, even if the link was opened from a new window.

Notes

• Access to a shared document link is gated by the recipient's existing permissions. Users without access to the room will not be able to open the document.
