Locking AI Fields

Locking AI fields prevents repository-created AI fields from being modified. Users can still choose whether to display these fields in their own views.

To lock AI fields, you must have one of the following roles:

  • Workspace Owner

  • Workspace Admin

  • Repository Admin

To lock AI fields:

  1. Open the repository.

  2. Select AI Fields.

  3. Locate the AI field you want to lock, then turn on the toggle in the Locked column.

Once a field is locked, only users with the required permissions listed above can edit it. A lock icon will appear next to the field to indicate that it is locked. Users can still show or hide the field in their view, but they cannot modify it.
