Review 2.0

The recommendations experience in Review 2.0 has been redesigned. Checkboxes now indicate which recommendations will be applied when you click "Apply All," and each individual recommendation has clear Apply and Dismiss buttons so the actions are more intuitive. You can also see the status of each redline suggestion from the recommendations page, for example how many are pending, applied, or dismissed. Dismissed recommendations within a section won't be applied even if you hit Apply All for that section.

Personal Playbooks

Users can now create personal playbooks that are private to them within the workspace. These are accessible in both Review and Assistant, and any user with Review access can create one, no admin permissions required. It keeps the shared playbook list clean for the broader organization while giving individuals the flexibility to build their own.

Assistant Memory

For Intelligence customers, Assistant can now remember details about you and reference your previous conversations. Memory builds automatically over time, and you can also tell Assistant to remember specific things. You can reference past chats directly, for example asking Assistant to pull context from a previous conversation about a specific agreement before continuing your work.

Assistant Prompt Enhancer

The Prompt Enhancer is now available to all users in both the web and Word add-in Assistant. It takes your existing prompt and rewrites it into a more effective legal prompt, transforming rough ideas into structured prompts with better clarity

Assistant File Support

Assistant now supports a much wider range of file types and larger uploads. You can now upload up to 100 files, with support for files up to 2GB. New supported formats include images, emails (.eml and .msg, including attachments within those emails), PowerPoint presentations (.pptx), legacy Word documents (.doc), and PDF portfolios. Note that emails need to be saved as files before uploading, as dragging directly from a mail app into a browser is not supported.

Settings Page Redesign

The settings page has been redesigned with a cleaner, modal-based layout. Settings are now accessed through the user icon in the bottom corner of the app, replacing the previous navigation tab structure.

Repository: Composite Document Downloads

You can now download composite documents (base agreements with amendments) in PDF or Word format directly from the composite view. Amendment documents can also be downloaded individually from that same view.

Security: Auto Logout and IP Whitelisting

Workspace admins can now configure an auto logout period, so users are automatically logged out after a set amount of time. This defaults to indefinite. Intelligence customers can also now set an IP whitelist to restrict access to approved networks, applying across the Word add-in, Google Docs, and the web app.

Permissions and RBAC Improvements

Several improvements have been made to how permissions are managed across the platform. Room permission modals now list all users with access, broken down by admins, inherited access, and direct shares. User profiles in workspace settings now show every room and playbook a given user has access to, all in one place. The playbooks page also now shows which users have access to each playbook. Role names and descriptions have been updated throughout to better communicate what each permission does.

Workspace Owners and Admins have also been transitioned to a more IT-focused role. They no longer have access to Review or Intelligence by default, keeping those products scoped to the users who actually need them. Existing Workspace Admins and Owners were automatically migrated so their access is unchanged.

AI Fields: Usage Visibility

You can now see exactly which rooms and views an AI Field is used in, directly from the AI Fields table. Admins can click into any field to see the full list and navigate to those rooms or views. There is also a warning when editing an AI Field, so you know which rooms and views will be affected before making changes.

Review 2.0

Review 2.0 continues to improve. Review can now see and interpret document comments, you can click on redlines to jump to the relevant details, and undo edits as you work. Playbooks can also be imported and exported, making it easier to reuse and share your review setup across teams.

Risks Flag are now available in Review 2.0, surfacing potential issues during review without any extra steps. Review results also now flow directly into Reports, so generating an issues list or email memo from a completed review is seamless.

We've also improved loading performance and added a new loading screen to make the wait a little more enjoyable.

Google Docs Support

Ivo now works inside Google Docs. You can access Assistant, Review, Reports, Clause Library, and Review 2.0 directly while working in a Google Doc, no longer needing to switch between tools. Available on Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Brave via a Chrome extension.

Google Docs can also now be stored and managed in your Ivo repository alongside your other contracts using a Google Drive integration.

Assistant

Assistant is now connected to the Ivo Knowledge base. You can ask it things like how to set up SSO, what file types are supported, or how to manage user permissions. It pulls from our Help Center and stays up to date automatically.

You can also now pin your most-used prompts in the Word and Google Docs, so your go-to actions are always one click away. Up to four prompts can be pinned per user.

Additionally, Assistant now offers user level customization to help you get better results across your workflow.

Repository

Repository now handles larger contract volumes more efficiently, with faster relationship computation across your contract library. We've also renamed "Benchmarks" to Deviations for clarity. The functionality is unchanged.

AI Fields

AI Fields now produce more accurate and consistent results thanks to improvements to how fields are extracted. Admins can also lock AI Fields to ensure standardized data across your workspace, preventing accidental edits to fields that your team relies on.

Drafting Guidance

You can now set Drafting Guidance for Review under Settings → Company Profile → Details. This lets you define how you want suggested edits and redlines written, covering things like tone, preferred terminology, and formatting conventions. Ivo will factor these in when generating suggestions in Review 2.0.

Clearer roles & permissions

We’ve updated role names across Ivo to make it easier to understand what each role does and where it applies. Roles are now grouped by the area of the product they govern: Workspace (Owner, Admin), Review (Manager, Editor, Member), and Repository (Admin, Manager, Member). This makes it immediately clear what access a user has and at what level. If you manage user permissions for your team, you’ll see the updated names reflected in your Settings. https://support.ivo.ai/articles/1159673813-understanding-role-based-access-control-rbac

Assistant- Seamless continuity across web & Word

Your Assistant chats are now shared between the Ivo web app and the Word add-in. Start a research query in your browser, then pick it up right where you left off in Word, including your redlines. You can also search across previous chats in both platforms, making it easier to revisit earlier work. https://support.ivo.ai/articles/9672118632-accessing-assistant-history

Assistant- Faster repository comparison & playbook access

Comparing a document against your repository is now much faster. Assistant can also access your playbooks directly in both the web app and the Word add-in, so you get the same guidance wherever you work.

Want to try it? Upload a contract and ask Assistant to review it against one of your playbooks.

Intelligence- Lock AI fields

AI fields in the repository can now be locked to prevent changes, giving admins more control over standardized fields while still allowing users to show or hide them in their own views. Workspace Owners, Workspace Admins, and Repository Admins can manage this setting. https://support.ivo.ai/articles/9283678612-locking-ai-fields

Integrations- Google Drive sync now reflects deletions

When a file is deleted from your connected Google Drive folder, it will now automatically be removed from your Ivo repository as well. This keeps your repository clean and in sync without any manual cleanup. Deletion syncs run daily, and apply to connected syncs for files added after November 26, 2025.

Web Prompt Library

We’ve introduced a new Prompt Library for Assistant in the web application. It gives you access to Ivo’s prebuilt prompts under Ivo Prompts, lets you create shared prompts for your team under Workspace Prompts, and allows you to save personal prompts under User Prompts.

Even better, prompts sync across both the web and Word applications, so you can access them wherever you use Ivo.

Assistant Is Now Available to All Users

This is a big one. Assistant, our AI-powered legal research and drafting tool, is now accessible to all Ivo users, including those without an Intelligence or Repository subscription.

We’ve also expanded Assistant’s capabilities:

  • Excel file analysis: Assistant can now read and analyze Excel files. Users can upload .xlsx files and ask questions directly about their contents.

  • Up to 50 uploaded documents: The upload limit has increased from 20 to 50 documents, making large multi-document analysis workflows much more powerful.

Import Metadata into Repository from CSV or Excel

You can now bulk import metadata directly into your Repository from a CSV or Excel file.

This is especially useful for teams migrating existing contract data or managing large volumes of contracts, and it removes the need to manually enter field values one by one.

Snippets for AI Field Prompts

We’ve introduced Snippets, reusable text blocks that can be referenced across multiple AI Field prompts.

Key highlights:

  • Define a snippet once in Settings → Company Profile → Snippets

  • Reference it in any AI Field prompt by typing @ to trigger the autocomplete dropdown

  • Use the Preview toggle to see the full expanded prompt before saving

When you update a snippet, all AI Fields using it will automatically re-extract, so there’s no need to update
